Bundle discount: clients on Managed Endpoint Secure or Govern (Line 1) get 10% off Wolds Certify or Wolds Assure recurring fee. That is a saving of £102.50/year on Certify (1–9 users) and £271.60/year on Assure (1–9 users), renewing annually.
The £25k cyber insurance
At Wolds Certify and above, a £25k cyber insurance policy is included for your organisation as part of the subscription. A few things worth knowing clearly:
- It is your policy, not Wolds Cyber's. This is cover for the client business — incident response costs, data breach liability, cyber extortion. It is not Wolds Cyber's own professional indemnity or liability cover.
- £25k is a starting point. For many Yorkshire SMBs in the 1–20 user range, it is a meaningful safety net. Larger organisations with significant client data or revenue may want to review whether it is sufficient, and we can advise.
- Policy terms before you commit. We provide the full policy documentation before you sign up so you can verify coverage matches your requirements.
- Maintaining the subscription maintains the cover. If the subscription lapses, so does the insurance. Annual billing is simplest for this reason.

What is the difference between Wolds Watch, Certify, and Assure?

How is this different from just buying Cyber Essentials certification?
CE certification (our Line 2) is a one-off engagement — readiness, submission, certificate, done. The Wolds Compliance subscription is continuous: you keep the certificate via annual renewal and retain ongoing monitoring, patch management, and insurance throughout the year. For businesses that want a managed compliance posture rather than a one-off stamp, the subscription delivers more.
Can I take Wolds Compliance without Managed Endpoint?
Yes. The three product lines are separable. Many clients take Wolds Certify or Assure without Line 1 managed services — for example, a business with an incumbent IT provider that just wants the compliance subscription. The 10% bundle discount only applies to clients who take Line 1 Secure or Govern alongside.
What is the minimum commitment?
Annual billing is the default and simplest. Monthly billing is available with a 12-month minimum commitment — this is a platform constraint passed through honestly. Renewal rolls at the same banded price unless your org size changes band.
Does the compliance subscription work for sectors like dental, legal, and motor trade?
Yes. Those are our primary target sectors. Wolds Assure is particularly suited to solicitors and dental practices where GDPR obligations around patient/client data are a live concern — the GDPR Privacy Toolbox and CE/CE+ certificates address both the data protection and supply-chain assurance requirements in one subscription.
